"When you see the message '072 destination not available' on an ATM, it means that the ATM is currently unable to establish a connection with the ATM switch and, consequently, with the Core Banking System.

The duration of this unavailability can be either temporary or permanent, depending on the underlying cause. If the issue is due to damage in the LAN cable or router of the ATM, the bank staff or the ATM managing vendor will need to intervene.
